milano, it — three of the bed slats on thing one’s shitty single bed snapped in two and i was hoping maybe i could wander my way into a shop that sold bed slats. but you know who sells bed slats? not anyone. so really what i was doing was just wandering, full stop. but thing two, the younger one, was with me and so i had the job of having a plan, of being confident.
milano, it — i found this under a car on viale papiniano while listening to shankar videntam talk about group think. i was on my way to the outdoor market to get waste bins, small plastic ones, for our apartment. this because, despite repeated pleas to our landlord, we have been living without waste bins in our bathrooms for many weeks and we have two teenage daughters. in place of actual waste bins, we have been using plastic bags tied to the bidet bar but i don’t think that is the right name for the towel-rack-like bar on the wall behind the bidet.
